September 14, 2008, Head of the Supervisory Board of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation Kateryna Yushchenko took part in the Borshchiv Embroidered Shirt within the Context of Ukrainian National Costume scholarly conference. The event was part of the Vyshyvankas Blossom in the Borshchiv Land ethno festival in Borshchiv, Ternopil oblast. Among the participants of the conference were Ukrainian and Polish ethnographers.
