Awards Ceremony of the Museum Event of the Year Second All-Ukrainian Action Scheduled for May 24
May 24, 2007, at 4:30 p.m., the Bohdan and Varvara Khanenko Arts Museum (Kyiv, 15 Tereshchenkivska St.) will host the awards ceremony of the Museum Event of the Year Second All-Ukrainian Action.
Head of the Supervisory Board of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund Kateryna Yushchenko, Minister for Culture Yuri Bohutsky, President of the National Television Company of Ukraine Vitaliy Dokalenko, state and public figures, museum workers will take part in the ceremony.
The event will celebrate Ukraine’s museums’ highest attainments in 2006.
The Museum Event of the Year Second All-Ukrainian Action is a joint project by the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund, Ukrainian Center for Museum Development, and National Television Company of Ukraine.
Forty museum events in various Ukraine’s regions competed for these awards. The winners were selected through voting by over 70 experts, among who were journalists, museum workers, people’s deputies, public figures, etc.
The prize fund of the action amount UAH 50,000.
