Kateryna Yushchenko and Alma Adamkene Visit the Chornobyl National Museum
November 14, 2006, Head of the Supervisory Board of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund Kateryna Yushchenko and wife of the President of Lithuania Alma Adamkene visited the Chornobyl National Museum.
The guests familiarized themselves with the display, talked to the museum administration and participants in the removal of the consequences of the Chornobyl disaster. Mrs. Yushchenko presented the museum with a copy of Mariya Mytsio’s The Wormwood Forest, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Chornobyl.
Mrs. Yushchenko also granted Deputy Head of the museum Anna Korolevska with a membership card of the Ukrainian Center for Museum Development.
