Odesa Oblast Libraries Receive Books from Ukrainian Center for Museum Development

November 14, 2006, representatives of the Ukrainian Center for Museum Development at the Ukraine 3000 Fund passed over book sets to eleven Odesa oblast libraries. The ceremony took place on the premises of the Odesa Oblast Universal Scientific Library. The presents were handed over by Head of the Information and Analysis Department of the Ukrainian Center for Museum Development Vladyslav Pioro on behalf of the Ukraine 3000 Fund.

The presents were handed over to the Odesa Oblast Universal Scientific Library, Odesa State Gorky Scientific Library, Odesa National Polytechnic University Scientific and Technical Library, Odesa National Mechnykov University Scientific Library, Izmayil Humanitarian University Library, South Ukrainian Ushynsky Pedagogical University Library, Odesa Nezhdanova Musical Academy Library, Artsyzsk Region Central Library, Biliayiv Region Central Library, Izmayil City Central Library, and Illichivsk City Central Library.

The Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund, Fund for Developing the National Arts Museum, and Center for Museum Development are conducting a countrywide action presenting books to Ukrainian libraries. In the next few months, 180 national, oblast, and region libraries, including university libraries, will be granted six albums of the Ukraine’s National Arts Museum and sets of books on Ukraine’s archeology, history, and culture.
