Ukraine 3000 Fund Donates 500 Copies of the Manmade Famine of 1932-1933 in Ukraine Book to the State Administrative Department
November 10, 2006, the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund donated 500 copies of the Manmade Famine of 1932-1933 in Ukraine book (compiled by N. Diuk, Kyiv, 2006) to the State Administrative Department.
It is planned to present this book to all Verkhovna Rada deputies.
This event was part of the action for free distribution of this publication. November 7, the Ukraine 3000 Fund passed over 300 copies of this book to Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Manmade Famine of 1932-1933 in Ukraine book, reissued by the Ukraine 3000 Fund within the framework of The Lessons of History: Manmade Famine of 1932-1933 program, is the first publication in the series aimed at spreading accurate information on the Holodomor Manmade Famine in Ukraine. It contains a collection of articles, first published 20 years ago, explaining the essence and consequences of this tragedy to contemporary Ukrainians, as well as everyone interested in the subject throughout the world. The series will continue with reprinting Robert Conquest’s The Harvest of Sorrow and The Great Terror.
