Sixth Issue of the Ukrayinsky Muzey [Ukrainian Museum] Informational Bulletin Came Off the Presses

The bulletin’s September-October’s issue is, by a tradition, dedicated to urgent issues in the museum sphere and adjacent fields.

The issue features articles on the progress of various Ukrainian Center for Museums Development’s projects: television films contest titled Nasha Spadshchyna [Our Legacy], charitable action dedicated to the All-Ukrainian Libraries Day, etc., and also announces a new initiative, founding the First Public Museum Library in 2007.

As a part of the Center for Creating Methodical Guidelines Database for Computerized Museum Accounting agenda, a short review of the museum accounting in France and Great Britain was published.

A special section is dedicated to the extraordinary events at the Folk Architecture and Life Museum at Ukraine’s National Academy of Sciences.

The UM readers are also presented information on the most interesting recent and future events in the life of Ukrainian museums: exhibitions, shows, scientific and practical seminars, conferences, books published, etc.

The Ukrayinsky Muzey [Ukrainian Museum] informational bulletin is the only professional publication on museums, freely distributed among Ukrainian museum workers. The newspaper was founded by the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation and is prepared together with the Ukrainian Center for Museums Development.
