180 Ukraine’s Libraries to Get Presents from the Center for Museums Development
The Ukrainian Center for Museums Development together with the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund and Fund for Developing Ukraine’s National Arts Museum started a charitable action timed to coincide with the Day of Ukrainian Library Worker.
In part, the organizers will distribute free of charge a set of six books among 180 Ukraine's libraries.
The set includes an album on Ukraine’s National Arts Museum collection, an album on Ukrainian icon painting of the 12th-19th century, a collection of the works of Ukrainian art of the 19th-early 20th century, a collection of the works of Ukrainian art of the 20th-early 21th century, an album dedicated to O. Murashko, and catalogue of the exhibition Ukrainian Portrait of the 16th-18th Centuries.
The total cost of these publications at the book market is nearing UAH 2000 ($400).
The precious gift will be delivered to national and oblast libraries, libraries of Ukraine’s major universities, and 79 biggest region and city libraries.
