Fifth Issue of the Ukrayinsky Muzey [Ukrainian Museum] Informational Bulletin Came Off the Presses
The bulletin’s July’s issue, by a tradition, is dedicated to urgent issues in the museum sphere and adjacent fields. The issue features articles on computer bookkeeping of museum exhibits, the situation with the Taras Shevchenko National Museum, and the problem of faking items of the national cultural heritage.
A special section is dedicated to the results of the first joint Ukrainian-American undersea archeological expedition Black Sea 2006.
The UM readers are also presented information on the most interesting recent exhibitions, as well as new and permanent exhibitions in the Ukrainian museums.
Besides, the bulletin contains data on the coming projects, conferences, book novelties, etc.
The Ukrayinsky Muzey [Ukrainian Museum] informational bulletin is the only professional publication on museums, freely distributed among Ukrainian museum workers.
The magazine was founded by the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation and is prepared jointly with the Ukrainian Center for Museums Development.
