Kateryna Yushchenko to Take Part in Artek Dialogs Annual Educational forum

September 19, 2008, the Suuk-Su Palace in Artek International Children’s Center will host the Equal Access to Higher Education: the Challenge of the Third Millennium plenary session. The event will be part of the Artek Dialogs Annual Educational Forum organized by Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation.

Among the participants of the session will be:

• Kateryna Yushchenko, Head of the Supervisory Board of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation;
• Ivan Vasiunyk, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine;
• Kian Tang, Unesco Secretariat Educational Division Head;
• Borys Novozhylov, Director General of Artek ICC;
• Vasyl Kremen, President of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine.

The the Artek Dialogs Annual Educational Forum will be held September 19-21, 2008, with the official support of UNESCO and Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The forum has on its agenda two plenary sessions and 4 thematic sectors. Minister for Education and Science Ivan Vakarchuk, Minister for Family, Sports. and Youth Yuri Pavlenko, Rector of the National Drahomanov Pedagogical University Viktor Andrushchenko, Rector of the Kyiv Polutechnika National University Mykhaylo Zhurovsky, Director of the Ukraine’s Development Fund Anatoly Zabolotny are also expected at the forum along with 350 representatives of the educational community, international institutions, business structures, public, youth, and charitable organizations in Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Poland, Moldova, Germany, and Turkey.
