July 24, a Briefing Will Be Given by Members of the Board of Trustees of the Children’s Hospital of the Future Charitable Program

July 24, 2007, a briefing on the results of the meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Children’s Hospital of the Future Charitable Program will take place at the Ukrainian House Big Hall.

Representatives of the philanthropists who donated the biggest sums of money for creating and equipping the hospital at the Children’s Hospital of the Future All-Ukrainian Telethon of December 17, 2007, will take part in the event. Among other participants of the event will be Head of the Supervisory Board of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund Kateryna Yushchenko, Ukraine 3000 Fund and Children’s Hospital of the Future Charitable Fund representatives.

The first meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Children’s Hospital of the Future Charitable Program will precede the briefing. It is supposed to approve the executive personnel of the Board of Trustees, listen to the report on the Children’s Hospital of the Future Program, and agree further measures to implement the program.

The event will take place within the framework of the final part of the competition to select General Designer of the Children’s Hospital of the Future announced May 21, 2007.

The project to create the All-Ukrainian Center to Protect Mothers’ and Children’s Health was initiated by the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Fund in March 2006. This is Ukraine’s biggest charitable project. During the year 2006, the Fund’s workers carried out various events and presentations to promote the project in Ukraine. December 17, 2006, 11 Ukrainian TV channels aired the Children’s Hospital of the Future All-Ukrainian Telethon to raise funds for the hospital construction, raising UAH 242,000,000 in cash and declarations of intent. As of July 23, 2007, UAH 261,344,515 was collected for the construction of the All-Ukrainian Center to Protect Mothers’ and Children’s Health.
