The Dzherelo Education and Rehabilitation Center was founded in 1993 by parent of children with cerebral palsy. It serves the needs of children with psychic and physical developmental disorders and provides education, social services, and rehabilitation for children and young people aged from 0 to 35.
The Dzherelo is working with children with cerebral palsy, autism, Down’s syndrome, hyperactive disorders, AD, etc. Its goal is involving the disabled children into rehabilitation and educational programs, integrating children with special needs into the general educational system. The Center is unique in that, unlike other institutions, it works mostly with children with heavy developmental disorders and can boast a handpicked team of well-qualified and experienced professionals in physical rehabilitation, doctors, psychologists, and pedagogues.
Today the Dzherelo takes care of over 240 children with special needs, taking part in its daily programs. During the last year, 536 children with cerebral palsy have used the Center’s services (since the Center’s foundation - over 900 children in all departments). All Dzherelo’s services are free of charge.
