Kateryna Yushchenko Takes Part in a Reception by Land Counselor on Economy and Social Policy of the State of Nordrhein-Westfalen, Rhineland region, Werner Stum

June 11, 2008, Head of the Supervisory Board of the Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation Kateryna Yushchenko took part in a reception by Land Counselor on Economy and Social Policy of the State of Nordrhein-Westfalen, Rhineland region, Werner Stump.
The Ukrainian part was represented by acting Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Valentyn Nalyvaychenko, Head of the Board of Directors of the Ukraine 3000 Foundation Oleksandr Maksymchuk, Head of the Foundation’s Public Relations Dept. Maryna Antonova, acting Head of the Embassy of Ukraine to the Federative Republic of Germany Yevhen Chornobryvko, and Head of the Ukrainian House public association Irena Yastreb. The German part was represented by Department Head of the Chamber of Trade of the Rhein-Erft region Saskia Niemann, Head of Medical Columbus JSC Dirk Isenberg, Head of the Museum and Archive Office of the Rhineland Region Gary Voigtsberger, Head of the International Diplomacy Organization Günter Meinel, Head of the RWE Supply & Trading GmbH Company Stefan Judisch, Head of the St. Catherine Hospital medical institute Jakob Joseph Schal, Head of the Rhine-Erft Economical Promotion Company Anne Schmidt-Sausen.
In course of the reception, Mr. Stump described to the Ukrainian guests the economical development of his region. He expressed his hope for further active cooperation between Germany, and the ðåã³îíîì Rhineland in particular, and Ukraine. The parties discussed possible ways of cooperation between Ukraine and Rhineland region in the areas of medicine, economy, and culture.
In her turn, Mrs. Yushchenko said she appreciated the German business’s interest to Ukraine. She described the Ukraine 3000 Foundation’s programs and projects, speaking in more detail about the Children’s Hospital of the Future program.
Mrs. Kateryna Yushchenko and Ukraine 3000 International Charitable Foundation representatives are staying in Germany for a two-days working visit, in course of which they are to visit Düsseldorf and Cologne.
