Our Ukraine Calls to Remember Tragic Pages of Our History

The Our Ukraine People’s Union calls to support the President’s initiative and a candle in the window to commemorate Holodomor victims.

“We have to remember the tragic pages in our history to prevent repeating the mistakes of the past. We urge everybody to support the Light a Candle All-Ukrainian Action initiated by President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko and light a candle of faith and hope in every window as a symbol of the memory of the victims of Manmade Famine of 1932-1933 in Ukraine (Holodomor),” the Our Ukraine People’s Union reports Vyacheslav Kyrylenko as saying.
